Kathmandu:
Renowned singer and composer Tilak Singh Pela, known for his melodious ghazals and songs like ‘Ke Laat Basyo’ and ‘Her Din Dhalyo,’ is all set to mesmerize music lovers once again with his upcoming release, ‘Deusara Aigai.’ The song, composed by talented lyricist Hemanta Bibash and voiced by Pela, is scheduled to hit the airwaves on September 21.
Pela, not only lending his soulful voice to the song but also displaying his musical prowess by composing it, promises an unforgettable visual experience in the accompanying music video. The video is rich in scenes that showcase the diverse facets of the Manaskhandiya language, culture, tradition, and civilization. It features elements such as Hudkeli, Thadokhel, Chhalia Dance, Holi celebrations, and the Dhami Kameko ritual.
When asked about the inspiration behind the video’s concept, Pella elaborated on the significance of the Manaskhandiya civilization. This cultural tapestry spans from the Garhwal and Kumaon regions of India to the sacred Mansarovar, the source of the Kali Karnali river. Pela emphasized the vastness and uniqueness of this civilization, extending far beyond the cultural traditions highlighted in the video.
In recognition of its depth and diversity, Pela admitted that capturing every facet of the Manaskhandiya civilization within a 5-7-minute music video was not an easy task. Consequently, the video includes only a selection of these traditional scenes, aiming to provide viewers with a glimpse into this remarkable heritage.
As anticipation builds for the release of ‘Deusara Aigai’ on September 4, music enthusiasts can look forward to not only Tilak Singh Pela’s enchanting vocals but also a visual journey through the rich tapestry of the Manaskhandiya civilization.
